Just one thng I'd like to point out: The rings around the neck actually push the ribcage down, not the head up. And I think the group that does this is actually Indonesian, or South-Pacific area, not Africa. I could be wrong about that though.

I just wanted to say that while you were still sketching and since you have picked an actuall group of people to base your character on. :shrug:

ZRo: You remebered correctly you were referencing the Padung I believe but the Ndebele tribe in Africa also does the same thing .
