I am trying to do facial animation using Maya and motion builder.
For That I have to create blend shapes for the main face.

In general it is done by taking duplicates of main face and different expressions are made to the duplicates.

But i created different expression copies in other software. When I created Blend shapes,
my main face is moving to the respective expression copy .

Can anyone suggest me how to stop this movement of the main face?

The vertices from your blendshapes are not at the same worldspace position as your original face model, so you need to take the expressions and move them to same place as the original face, then freeze the vertex transformations (you can do this by applying a deformer and deleting history). Then you can translate them wherever you want as long as origin is set to 'local'.. prolly best to make the shapes in maya if possible though. =)
