View Full Version : Stop That Train - 3D Short Animation
AlexandroCastro 10-01-2009, 06:46 PM Hi everybody. I am a 3D animator living in Brazil and after five weeks of hard work I managed to complete my new animated short. Not everything went exactly as I wanted, but I think the result was good and I hope you have fun. Almost forgot, I am available for freelance

you have some good stuff here, but i think that the part where we zoom out to space and see the explosion isnt stylized like everything else and so i looks a little out of place. i would try to fix that, by either making the stary vacuum of space have that crinkled paper look, or doing that to the earth. that may help.
good job tho man

Hi InDyJones12, thank you for your opinion but it was also part of the short style. The scene of the explosion was initially a real video of detonation of an atomic bomb, but changed my mind and decided to make a sequence in 3D. I wanted to explore some absurd contrasts, for example, I dont think it right to expect to hear birds next to a canyon, isnt it? I'm not sure because I'm Brazilian, but I think it was also absurd. Anyway, thank you for your cooperation, I'm glad you enjoyed it after all.
PI3c3, thanks also for the comment and I'm glad you enjoyed. Some scenes should have gone much more funny, but with the deadline hanging me not everything went exactly as I had in mind, it was still fun.
Thanks everybody
