Hi !
As a very newbie user of mentalray/maya5 i´m having tons of troubles with a scene i´m working on.
This is a render of the main scene of a short film we are working on. I´ll soon post it on the Work in progress section. Right now is just for illustrate you what is more or less in what we have the troubles.

But in other camera angles the render just finish without any output image, but with some errors in mayaRenderLog.txt.

Well, as you see, i´m using jpeg textures (there are a lot...) but i have heard the mental ray works better and faster with TGA. Is that true? could that be the problem?
I´ve noticed that in my scene there are 2 or 3 objects without material, it is one of those things you leave for later and you completely forget. In the render you see, those are not visible. I have to make some more renders to be sure that is not the problem, but, could it be? Is it possible that mental ray hangs for that?
Sorry for the long mail :P I really need some help on that. We are running out of time! :D
