View Full Version : Why do my movies render to Quicktime desaturated?

Hi,

I am a rank beginner with Shake and only really use it at this time to convert numbered .iff files to quicktime. I am finding though that the render process seriously desaturates the color of my images. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

I am working on a Mac Pro with Snow Leopard.

Are you rendering to H.264 from Shake? There is an issue with that codec that changes the contrast. http://www.vfxtalk.com/forum/you-fix-h-264-brightness-t13215.html

Thank you. I guess I will be buying Quicktime Pro. Is Quicktime 7 Pro the most recent version? and if so, does it work with Quicktime 10.0 player?
