Stephen Vyas 08-11-2003, 04:54 PM Hey guys,
Just wondering if there's a way to convert a model from Lightwave to XSI.
Any help is greatly appreciated..

Do you have Lightwave handy? if so you just export the model as a OBJ instead.
If you don't have that you can use Deep Exploration from Right Hemisphere to do that conversion. No free tools can do it though...
I bet someone on IRC could help out converting a LWO file though.

Export as OBJ from LW, and then import into XSI
OR
Try this plugin for LW:
http://www.edharriss.com/xsi/tools/lightwave_hrc_pcsof120_zip
This exports to the .hrc format (SI|3D 's native format) which can be imported unto XSI
