Hello everyone

The University of Hertfordshire has begun to place some of the recordings we've made of the companies who have given talks at our university to the animation students. The first two videos are of Sony and Rare (Microsoft Game Studios), both talking about the sort of work they like to see in a student's portfolio, and also giving an insight into the game development processes that both companies use. If you're a student studying Games Art or considering doing so, these might be very interesting to watch.

We'd like to thank the representatives of Sony and Rare for their time and for allowing us the chance to put this footage online. We hope to get clearance for some VFX talks soon, so watch this space.

Thanks for posting these, Martin. My only regret is that I wasn't there to see them in person! Hopefully there will be similar events planned during my time as a student at UH ;)

Yes there should be many more to come, we try to have one every two weeks so students can get an idea of what the world outside university is really like :)

Thank you for your thoughts, I take it you mean vimeo not fimo.... thx M8 :P

You say it locks up? I have never seen vimeo do this, we shall look into posting on Youtube in the foreseeable future.
