hi,
currently, I'm doing my first own animation piece in maya 09 and after effects. this is a testrender i made.

My problems with this test are:
- The ground flickers a bit
- At the right leg and at the left hand, there seems to be "noise artifact" when the animation of said parts start.
Here are my render settings (As I said, I dont know mich about that stuff):

The DOF effect is done with AE. Can i do a similar one with Maya?
