Crude, but it will work quite well if you can make the mucus a crusted, pus-ridden part of his face.:D

i'm not sure if that would count as a deformity, though. that would be really cool if you can pull off an utterly repulsive giant booger.

Erilaz & Lyonhaert .. frickin hilarious:scream: ... with some nice sss and soft body dynamics ... i can see it swinging now

How about the arm stumps? They're sort of pointy now.

08-21-2003, 11:00 AM
JamesMK .. hey, ... i started thinking that she looks like an amputee instead of deformed with just a stump soo..... i'm still searching for it

aww... She really gets my sympathies . This is gona be one touchy piece of work!
Looking very good!
JamesMK

Excellent. Very good indeed.
If you want an amputated look (couldn't really figure out if you did or did not want that =) I suppose if you consider that one would cut through the skin, leave a bit of it, then cut the bone off and you would sort of cover the remaining bone with the extra skin and subdermal tissue. So in the end you are looking for something rather blunt and boxy, sort of... :hmm: Like a wrapped up parcel or something... Ugh. What a topic...
pigwater
08-22-2003, 01:25 AM
Pufferfish .. thanks,
JamesMK eeeww!! ..that's kinda gross:surprised ...no, i was thinking the sketched looked like an amputated arm, which i didn't really like .. so for the model i was thinking more of a gestation malfunction type of thing .... but i really do appreciate the thoughts:) ... been enjoyin your thread as well a it looks like your really flowing with your new app  .. congrats on that, by the way
here's some of the tat lady ...

damn! they both are looking great!
The tattoo lady is coming along nicely. She really could be her mother, the look in her face is the same as the little girl has.
Well I assume you modelled her from the same face :)
great work!

Argh! That looks perfect! Really interesting to see your shell modeling approach here... I used to make stuff like that, but then I started using Wings and had to go box/volume all the way. I really should look into shell-stuff again...
Uh, anyway, you've got a great sense of anatomy going for you :applause:

Your beginning to reach your potential with this idea Pigwater.
Will you be giving the characters a scene,or surrounding carny feel?

pufferfish ..thanks, ya used the same face mesh.. i'll be tweakin the models later to get rid of similarities and symmetry to fix that
JamesMK .. mahalos , actually i was going to box model this, at least that 's how i started, but by the time i got here i kinda ended up switching back and forth ... anyways, my wires are coming out a lot cleaner than just sub-d modelling
Virtuoso  ... ya i'm going for a full scene here ... thanks for the words
just wanted to post and show i'm still alive... doin odds and ends today on this ... right now i'm staring at a shoe lace so i can finish this corset ...gotta go:wip:

Yes do start catching up Pigwater.Your emotional piece will be well worth it.I hope you find the time, the potential here is great.Even if not for this challenge take it to the WIP section and finish it there. It's a nice twist or other side to your work,a nice showcase of your versatility.
Here is to hoping to see more from you Pigwater.
