View Full Version : Help with gun metal texture tutorials...

Hey guys...

I'm hoping someone can help. A while ago I found a really great site that had a bunch of tutorials, using Photoshop, to create some really fantastic gun metal texturing, which included a wooden gunstock, several gun metal with details, and textured pistol grip.

Unfortunately I've lost the link to this site, but I do have one tutorial that was (I think) on this site. I was wondering if anyone knows what site this is??

I think this site was dedicated more to game texturing.

The only place I've seen tutorials in that format is deviantart.

I may have someting a little better, check out this book:

Dark Side of Game Texturing: By: David Franson $40 USD

Its filled with all sorts of PS texture creation tutorials just like that if not much better. And even comes with a CD and such. It's currently used in my college for our basic game texturing class.
