View Full Version : Vehicle: Porsche GT4
Nefarius 08-11-2003, 09:55 AM Hi,
Because Porsches are my favorite sportscars (especially the GT2) I decided to take the GT2 as a basis, modify it slightly and call it the GT4.
The modeling is done with Rhino 3.0 and the rendering with Flamingo 1.1
Although I'm pretty satisfied with the model, I think the rendered image could be improved. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
Other comments and critics are also welcome of course.

There is nothing wrong with the model as I can see it looks really good, but the render and textures need alot more work. If you worked on that.. it would probably get fantastic! Good Luck with it!
same as what eradus said; model is sexy but the render needs a makeover  . Im not very impressed with that tree in the background!!!! :argh: I suppose you could get someone else to render it in a slightly better proggie than flamingo.

I threw Flamingo out of the window and bought Carrara 3.0.
It's exactly the same model as before, only now it's rendered in Carrara 3.0.
I hope you think it's better now. :)

I like it, looks nice. The only thing that bugs me a bit is that the floor is too reflective

Good details overall, but the car could've been better ;)
-The brick ground...reflective? and it's not even wet!
-The car's missing the windshield wipers
Those are my nitpicks :D
I hope to see more updates for this.
Cheers

Hi! :)
The critiques I have:
1. I think the cars paint is a bit too reflective. Same with the ground (like previously stated).
2. The back lights and front lights dont actually looked modeled. More like they were just skinned.
Other than that ... great model. :)
