Hi. It's my first post here. I just finished drawing this in Photoshop. I'm mostly interested if the red torn skin can be interpreted as something else when someone looks at it for the first time (unlike me :surprised ). It sure doesn't look like realistic dead organic matter but does it at least give that impression? I mean, at least in a cartoonish kind of way...

Critiques about the face (dis)proportions are mostly welcome as it's my first detailed drawing of a face.

the lower left red thing could be a praying figure kneeling, second over I'd say is pretty vague still, Third one gave me the impression of a female turning her back with one hand hanging beside her hip. I like that one alot.

I get the feeling that the red and black images are seprate project's almost though. Possibly lowering the brightness of the reds used.

K that's all for now. See Yah

O yeah. The face... pretty sweet. wears his lower lip gone to though? and are you avoiding doing the ears? I know I avoid doing ears...

Thanks for commenting. Now that you said it, I do find a vague silhouette of a woman turned... in the rightmost red piece but... whoa! OK so the thing goes like this: in the lower part the skin was peeled and the [red] meat which has become visible is exfoliating from the neck too. And the lower lip was ripped off for good, vertically. And no, it's not something I premeditated :) it was the natural thing to be drawn at the moment.
