AHH!!

It's creepy that Reason and C4D are my programs of choice as well.

....Have fun learning it. I fried my PCI bus chip in my computer during a storm so I'm out of audio for a while.

Hey Scott

Yeah I use Cinema & Reason too! :) - after years of Cubase and various boxes and gadgets, Reason is a breath of fresh air!

Hey guys. Thought i would get in on this audio topic off shoot. I use Acid pro 4 sometimes and am addicted to fruityloops 4, both demo versions. I haven't been using them in a while because i've been focusing on honing the 3d art skills. Do you guys do this as a hobby? I've been interested in developing some songs. This is kinda cool how so many cinema users are into audio also. :buttrock:

there's a lot of 3d users who do music as well, a while back there was a collaboration peice started (in the oclaborative forum of course) trying to get people doing stuff, i started out and we got a couple of additions, but in the end nothing really came of it.

i think there are a number of users who do music professionally as well as cg. there are anumber of people who work in the recording studios for film and of course games who frequent cgtalk.

I don't do it [audio] as much lately, but I have produced music and sound for CD ROM/animation before, as well as having a short spell in the limelight as a dance music producer/remixer, going by the name of Eric Perez Project. :buttrock:

release... release me yeah...release! :p

That's funny... I used to be very much into music making before ending up doing 3D... Look for 'exoentity' on mp3.com... ;) (yes, I like that word)

I started out with heaps and heaps of hardware, then I sold my share of it to my brother, who owned the other half. He runs a small record company in Sweden now ("ad inexplorata"), while I'm stuck with the occasional musical relapse using Buzz when I get tired of CG.

Cool stuff everybody!
