longhi 09-23-2009, 05:25 PM Hello folks...
I didn't realize that cgtalk has a very good space for anatomy lovers!
So, I'm here to share some of my studies and give/receive feedback for everybody.
The point is... Let's help each other and study for life ;)
So, First of all, I'd like to introduce myself.
My name is Glauco Longhi, I live in Brazil, 21 years old.
I've been studying anatomy for the past 2/3 years, since I discovered 3d art.
I'm working as a freelancer character artist.
Well, at my website, you can read more about my stuff and so on.
Let's go to the point.
Here we go with some anatomy studies.

Hi Glauco...Welcome to this neck of the woods..:)
Impressive start to your sketchbook..Nice dynamic feeling to your poses and sculpts..
I really like the feeling of tension and stress of the skin and underlying muscles in that torso with no arms, and the same with the hand study... They feel ALIVE with energy...Great job...:)
Looking forward to seeing lots more of your works.

Very strong work.
Pretty nice flow in your work!
Lots of energy, I like that!
In your last post, the female dancer on the rock, it's probably just me but I feel the weight balance is a bit "over the edge", if you know what I mean. I am not convinced that she won't fall off the rock. Maybe you could do something with her left arm to get more weight towards the centre of the statue? Just thinking out loud.
In any case, impressive stuff! (I'm really not in a position to crit)

Hi Glauco, great updates. On the last two figures the heads are a bit too small. The hands of the last figure are too big as well. The legs of the woman seem a bit massive. Just a few remarks - hope this is useful. Keep going!
