Erufailon 08-10-2003, 07:43 PM This is my first real project (at least I started it like that, been only in the cg world for 3 months now), and I have pretty much given up on it, so can't post it to finished :)

It looks very good. Though I'm not sure if the relection map you're using is making the most of the model.

Mmh I don't know blender much and I don't recognize the technic you used to model it.
Some parts look to be in high-rez and some other in low-rez (like the rear door or the black part under the doors).
But what I think it needs is a bit more perfectness :D , for example, the front bumper is totally straight in the middle, I don't know the bmw 5 from a to z, but I think it should be a bit rounded.
Take also care of the windows : Look at the shadows of the lateral upright on the windows. There's lot of chance that the upright should be more rounded, like the window (and it's the same for the rear window).
Another example : The difference between the reflexion on the front door and the rear door is too high, it should fade softly from one door to the other. (Maybe you could simply to both doors in only one part, without forgeting to place faces you'll use to cut the piece in two part letter...)
The front proportions seems to be just a bit off. I know it's not an M5, but it's just a little little bit flat.
Of course don't take it wrong  , I don't want to list the different mistakes there's on your car, but as I said, just a bit more "perfectness" would correct a lot of those small mistakes and the global impression we've got would be better
Edit : Mmh, I forgot, after only 3 months, it's really good !
