Hello!
I've just built a slider in 3ds max 2009 to control the rotation speed of my object.
Basically it is fully functional, except the acceleration.
When I start to keyframe the slider-value (fram1=rotation speed 0°/s, frame 50=rotation speed 360°/s) the object doesn't start to rotate and gets faster and faster until it reaches full speed at frame 50, but it starts to spin extremely fast (like 20 full turns in one second) and when it reaches frame 50, the rotation is as it should be (360°/s)
My expression for the multiplier curve of the rotation speed:
(v_rotation_in___s)/360
v_rotation_in__s equals my slider-value, and divided by 360 for getting the degree per second-value right.
As I said, while not keyframing the slider value everything works like a charm but as soon as I start to animate the value, the object spins like crazy
Do you know where the problem is?
greets
Patrick
PS: I'm sorry for my bad english, I'm a german guy :P
