Hey Folks,
The link above is a sketch system being developed to aid industrial designers and others. In a few years the product has evolved but it has not been released yet. The latest videos show an interactive mesh to sketch on the surface. The possibilities...
Tesla take note. Early request. Can we have a sketch system built into future modeler?

Tesla take note. Early request. Can we have a sketch system built into future modeler?
i see these in Automotive design and not cheap at all kind like VizArt of modeling.

Does the latest ACIS kernel/libraries support sketching in realtime and then converting to splines?!...

Anibody knows if Tesla itīs alive and well? As usual, no news about from EiTG.
It seems SILO itīs a bit dead on the water or, at least, in a very slooooow upgrade path so i need another modeler.
Modo looks promising...

The Silo people were at Siggraph, so they must be doing well enough to afford a trade show booth. I don't use it, so I didn't have a reason to talk to them - but they stood out as one of just a handful of small companies that made a showing there. For a show that was literally and figuratively dominated by Intel, nVidia, and Autodesk, it actually made the little guys stand out that much more.
