View Full Version : glass material in modo
davedoo 09-21-2009, 01:37 PM Hi, I'm trying to create a glass ball using the glass materials in modo.
as you see in the attached image, the glass doesn't turn out right .
May i know what have i done wrong and what have i missed inorder to apply
and render in right ?

It's probably the absorption distance that's too low making the glass very dark or black. Try increasing that some more and see what happens. If that's not it then maybe it's your scenescale which is off, check that too.

If i remember correctly you can change the scene units in preferences, take a look there and read the manual for more info about it and also the shadertree so you know what you're doing. It helps :)

oh, you are refering the scene units, ok i know that and will check it out.
i adjust the absorption distance and it works, tks so much !
