Hopefully it doesn't look like a herbivore any more..heheh :)
This was my second attempt at high poly modeling (subD). Learned a great deal by working on this.

It's looking alright, the uber-hard, extremely creased wrinkles don't appeal to me much. The overall design is pretty good.

Yeah, those wrinkles where rough. But I'm happy with the end result, it was a great learning experience.

Thanks for the thread...I'm using max, so I'm looking around for some tuts on how to do that in max..but you're 100% right, that was my whole goal. I want to be more effecient and knowledgable about highpoly modeling before I spend too much time with normal mapping. I'll revisit this model once I get my hands a little bit dirtier with this stuff :)
