I was just wondering -- when going from High to low poly, do I need to make the low poly and uv's before I take the high poly into mudbox? Or do I take the high poly into mudbox - then take it back in THEN make the low poly / uvs.

Just trying to get the workflow down -- Thanks for the help!

Take the low poly into Mudbox, start sculpting it into a high poly object, export a normal map (gives the look of a high poly model without having to have a high poly model) and UV map, apply the maps to the low poly model.

I'd do the UVs before exporting to Mud. Switching back and forth can be messy and you'll need a UVed mesh before exporting the Maps from Mud.
