On Thursday, October 1st, at 7:00PM, NYC ACM SIGGRAPH is proud to present MetroCAF 2009, our seventh annual Metropolitan Area College Computer Animation Festival. This year's show will be held at the Fashion Institute of Technology's Haft Auditorium. The Haft Auditorium is located in Building C of FIT's campus on W. 27th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues. NYC ACM SIGGRAPH wishes to thank FIT for their generous support of this event.
This summer, a distinguished jury of leading industry professionals reviewed close to 100 submissions of computer animation, motion graphics and computer visualization from college students throughout the NYC metropolitan area. The jury selections for the MetroCAF 2009
represent the bright future of digital animation and design.
Admission to this event for NYC ACM SIGGRAPH members is, as always, free. It is also free for FIT faculty, staff and students. For non-member professionals, the admission cost is $10.00; for non-member students (with proof of currently-enrolled full-time status) admission
is $5.00.
