View Full Version : Textures no being updated when rendering.

hey guys I am running into a problem or some sort of bug I never saw it happening before..
whenever I am painting textures for my geometry I test render to see how they look and if I don't like it I go back in photoshop and keep tweaking til I am satisfied with the result.
so basicaly I am back and forth between photoshop and maya.
but today I am working on this scene... and whenever I tweak the textures and test render.. it doesn't update them.. is like I didn't make any change at all.. so I reload the file texture again.. I display the textures in the viewport and they seem fine it's just that they don't show on the render. I have to restart Maya everytime I make a change to the textures.
the settings of my renders is just production with raytrace on No FG or GI
and my shaders are Mia Materials.. but even if I change to lamberts or blinns, they don't update!

the first one is the render and the second one is the texture.. see how I have a big white square painted just for testing.. yet is not showing up in the render..
