Hello guys,

I am trying to create an User Data's control, and I found an issue.
I want to change the material's noise type by User Data, but from all values that I put, none modifying of noise type occurs, except value=0.

Below, .c4d file with the problem related above.

http://www.4shared.com/file/133376841/705efc65/change_noise_type.html (http://www.4shared.com/get/133376841/705efc65/change_noise_type.html)

Could help me anybody, please?
Thanks!

Hi!

If you dont know what the datatype expects, do the other way: Set a noise type and print out whats in.

If you set the first Noise type, you see that the ID starts with 2001 (try this). Hope this helps.

Cheers, Sebastian

Ooow Great!

Thanks for help!
Really works!

How do you did to know that the ID starts with 2001?
Have you been trying one by one until 2001?

Thanks!

This information is in the ressource files of CINEMA 4D, as a developer it was prtetty easy for Sebastian to check for them there. I did the same in the past when i needed that information for Xpresso setups.
