Is there a way to search through layers in Photoshop for invalid fonts? I opened an older PSD file that was created on a different computer with a different set of fonts installed. Naturally, the same fonts aren't installed on my computer, so I get the "Some text layers contain fonts that are missing." error when I open the PSD. I know Photoshop will tell me what font is missing if I can find the layer, so I was going to do that so I can find an alternative that looks similar to the original font. Unfortunately, there are hundreds of layers nested inside dozens of groups.
I can search through the layers palette manually for what fonts I may need, but I'd love to find an automated solution as this would speed up my workflow immensely. In my head I'm thinking of the same way that After Effects or an editing application will offline a piece of footage that is missing and you can search for the offline footage to replace/relink it. Can you do that with missing fonts in Photoshop?
