Really good, congrats. Just love the bunnies breaking a part onto the fast movements and when there is a impact also, then they come back to the group again, nice!

Love it! Except, seems a little odd to choose a bunny, thought it was an Energizer something at first. Was their a specific reason (besides the cute factor of course :) )?

Love it! Except, seems a little odd to choose a bunny, thought it was an Energizer something at first. Was their a specific reason (besides the cute factor of course :) )?

It's a very well know stunt in publicity. Duracell adopted a bunny after all the money invested in publicity by Energizer, leeching their campaings.

EDIT: Oh well! it seems to be the other way around:

It's brand/marketing theft back and forth. Movies do it all the time... that's why similar movies come out around the same time, trying to take advantage of the other's marketing campaign.

This is incredible work. Would love to know about how you guys approached this work.

What renderer did you choose? Renderman or Mental Ray? And did you use level of detail and stand-ins as workflow optimizations? Also, is that really fur on the rabbits or some clever shading?

Good work and kudos to everyone involved!

The shape morphing works really well. I'm getting tired of the "huge thing made out of smaller things" concept though, it seems to be a current trend in CG advertising.

To all those wondering why they are also using a Pink Bunny just like Energizer, here's the answer:

"The Duracell Bunny predates the Energizer Bunny (http:///wiki/Energizer_Bunny), which actually began as a parody of the Duracell Bunny commercials and toys that became a collectible item. There are differences in appearance—the Energizer Bunny wears sunglasses, has larger ears, is a different shade of pink, and has a different body shape. Also, while the Energizer Bunny is a single rabbit, the Duracell Bunnies are a species. The Energizer Bunny is always depicted with a drum, because the Duracell Bunny toys had drums. The actual Duracell Bunny advertising campaign has moved beyond this, and Duracell Bunnies are usually depicted as doing something other than beating a drum.

The Duracell Bunny does not appear in North America (http:///wiki/North_America), due to Energizer (http:///wiki/Energizer) jumping the trademark claim for the marketing use of a "battery bunny" in the United States and Canada. It does, however, occasionally appear on counterfeit (http:///wiki/Counterfeit) Duracells, usually of Chinese origin.

The Duracell Bunny was originally trademarked for use in the US and other countries. Duracell failed to renew its US trademark of the bunny and as a result, lost it[citation needed (http:///wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)]. Energizer, seeing an opportunity, trademarked a new bunny for its use." (Wikipedia)

I love the close up on their terrified faces when they're on the front of the train, hilarious. So where did Realflow start and end? I'm guessing the fall over the cliff up to the appearance of the sumo.

Thanks everybody

youtube link if you have problems : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OHY-2bv0vk

Yes Loopcorp , RealFlow for the falls , and for the link between the water and the Tornado
exept that... ...Thinking Particles.

to wait for the making of , here is one of the very first test , as you can see the bunnys were too small , 75 000 for this version , in the film there are 30 000 in the Sumo...

yes i know , huge , looks like a moutain , at the beginning of this project ,so much questions
how tall , how high , how many ... ...to understand the big shapes (sumo ..elephant) and to
see the bunnys.Question of balance , that was the biggest challenge !
