this is my first work with clay materials, this Velociraptor was make with Sculpey III Clay. I still work in this model adding some details and finish him.

I think the proportion is a little off. Do you have good reference photos?

when i sculp it, i use some photo references to model the velociraptor.

time spend in modeler: 18 hours

to sculp with sculpey, we most spend a lot of time to sculping a model and adding the details.

I think it looks a bit too bulky to be a velociraptor, especially the head, much too large and heavy.

The model itself is good, just don't think it comes off as a raptor. It honestly looks alot more like a skinny Trex with big front arms.

itīs true, when a finish the model i look to the face and i see that look like a trex face and not a velociraptor face :)
