I just got a mail from Prof. Dr. Jörn Loviscach, the developer of 12point0, informing me that a combined version of 12point0 for both Windows and Mac OS X is now available. The link is http://www.l7h.cn/cgi-bin/index.php?a=30 but unfortunately I get an "Illegal value" error page when I follow it. I've written Jörn about it, but I just noticed that the combined plugin is also available from the original URL http://www.l7h.cn/cgi-bin/index.php?a=3 so now all Mac users can knock themselves out with cel renders :)

Hi,

I mailed the wrong link, sorry. Yes, this one is the right:
http://www.l7h.cn/cgi-bin/index.php?a=3

Concerning the reported crashes under Windows: I tested the software on Win 98 SE, Win 2000, and Win XP with C4D R8.1. Please let me know of any problems you experience. I plan to build a special debug version and send it out to users reporting strange crashes.

Everybody downloaded my avi demo files, so I had to put the videos off the server because I have to obeye a traffic limit of 7 GByte per month. I hope the video files will be online again on Monday. The server where I'm going to put them is offline at the moment. (Not everybody is working on weekend ;-)

And because somebody wondered: No, the water simulation video is not from Cinema 4D. It rather is a real-time screen capture from a special software using a GeForce 4.

Regards,

Jörn

thank you for the great update! your plugin is very good!
