Hi Everyone,

This is the first piece of work I've posted here so I hope it goes alright.

I've done a few 3d Max projects but now I'm really trying to get into LightWave. So I've decided to try and tackle the seemingly excellent Newtek Car Tutorial (http://www.newtek.com/products/lightwave/tutorials/modeling/car/index.html). I haven't modelled a car before so this should be interesting.

Not much so far I know but I'm posting here to make myself update it, so definitely more soon.

Unfortunately because I currently don't have a permanent website its a case of copying and pasting the URL into your browser.

Any crits and comments are welcome.

The front seems to be coming along nicely. I'm starting to like LightWave a lot. This is my first proper stab at subdivisions. Anyway, must get to sleep...[Yawn].

Hi guys,

Cheers for the comments .

Error404, yes indeedy. I've been meaning to get to grips with LightWave for a while now. I saw a talk by Andy Bishop ages ago and when I saw how much you could do in such a short time...and I knew I would prefer the workflow. So far I do! I would love to get a bit of NURBS under my belt as well, maybe after I've done some solid 'Wave'. But hey, why don't you go for it?

Unknown Limit, please be assured I am waiting on tenderhooks on the tutorial :p.

Here's the latest update. Now onto the 'rear end'...

Good! the only thing i can see at this points is that the front lights need work done, and the front intake could have tighter edges (although i havn't seen the real car so i might be wrong).

Keep it up,

Will
