A nice image you have certainly captured the concept of an evil warlock well by combining it with traditional characteristics of an evil black broomstick-riding witch.

It would be nice to have a wire or flat poly view so we can see the geometry in the character as it does look a little flat at the moment, something that may just be due to the way it is lit. Presentation is also a problem for the hand I think, a lot of the geometry of which is obscured by its pose and the spell work the character is conjuring. However the texturing in the face and the tunic looks great there is a lot of well mapped detail in there that conveys an excellent dark gothic appearance.

Nice work :)

Yeah I kinda like it, but you could get higher contrasts or put another light into it so we can see all those details better! Because now it's very dark, sure he's evil.. but I think he can be evil still if it's lighter right? The smoke or whatever it is, that he got in his hand feels kinda wierd because it's in a strange angel. It would feel much better if the smoke were going upwards.
Good luck with it, love to see an update.:)
