they should drop those annoying flash pages which take forever to load though!

Okay when I first went to the site and saw the bayou shot I figured this was going to be typical stupid stereotypes of Louisiana but wow, those shots of the Mississippi river front and Jackson's square, and just great vintage New Orleans look really well done.

I think I may want to see this now and you can't go wrong with good ol' New Orleans brass.

Looks super cool. I'm glad there's a Disney movie based on my home city. I miss Danny & Clydes... *sniff*

I wanted to see this one, but now that I saw the trailer everything went down the toilet,
I just can't take singing characters every 5 minutes...

Come on Disney haven't you learn already?
that's old fashion and boring... :curious:

Funny you should say that considering about the time they began straying from that their films went downhill.

I can't wait to see it, if only because it does remind me of classic Disney films, the ones I loved.

But yeah, fart jokes... I can honestly I don't understand how a group can sit through a storyboard pitch, a guy mentions the fart joke, and enough level-headed funny people aren't in the room to say, "Uh, maybe we should avoid that brand of humor. It's just not funny."

You're right, and that's exactly the problem, it seems Disney is unable tell a story without
filling it with song after song after song...

anyway, many people like it, but for me the only time that formula did work was in the
"Jungle Book" long long time ago...

Aladdin had singing and its one of the best animated movies ever made.

I am not feeling this movie though. I was pretty excited at first but every trailer they release made me less excited. I will rent it when it comes out on blu ray.

Looks fantastic and Randy Newman doing the songs?! Yes please! This is classic Disney! :)

And what's wrong with fart jokes? You can't really say it's immature considering the age group this movie is actually geared towards.

And what's wrong with fart jokes?

fart jokes are a pop culture gimmick and will lose relevance shortly. they will date a movie horribly faster than a pop song. theres about a thousand other things wrong with them but ill let the other 999 people explain..

hey, dont get me wrong. i enjoy a good fart joke now and again but trailers should be selling points and come on. they can do better than that, at least i hope.

Pop culture gimmick? lol. There is nothing about fart jokes that is even remotely pop culture. They have always been around and always will, until people stop farting that is.

@Rob: I can agree with that.

their use in animated films is a fad. if you dont get what im saying i dont know how else to explain that. fart jokes are the lense flair of cartoons. Your trying to bully me with logic and it aint playing well in your court. Im sure with all the lousy food animators eat theyve been farting up storms since the dawn of the pencil, but you didnt see it in the films. Im not trying to be an ass here but you have to admit, you never saw or heard this many fart jokes in animated films in your life. in this short 5 year span they managed to pack enough fart jokes to power a small town.. that my friend is called pop culture gimmick
