The team here at Gosu have just finished a rather big profile job for Norwegian TV 2.

The stories you see in these idents are inspired by the Norwegian tradition and the awe-inspiring landscapes of the great Norwegian outdoors, elements that communicate to each and every viewer the stories of peopleís relationship to their surroundings and to each other.

Each of the idents lasts for 5 minutes. Each of the clips ends with a unique variation of the familiar TV 2 logo theme. The idea behind this strategy is for the logo to stand out as much more than merely a graphic shape or form. Our aim is to infuse and inject our logo with a wide spectrum of emotions; emotions that will immediately connect with our viewers on an emotional level as well as on a human level.

We produced 10 ID-shots all shot on greenscreen using RED camera, the 3d was mainly produced in Lightwave and some in Maya and all the compositing was done in Fusion. A bunch of the background mattes where handpainted and composited onto geometry and into backgrounds. The 10 shots are all very different from eachother so a bunch of different techniques where used to get the right animations and feel.
