Hey,

Here is a compilation of the clips I am considering adding to my demo reel. Varying degree of completion on them atm, and camera and lights are just simple quick things for now.
Trying to keep a deadline to have it ready to ship out by the end of september. In the end, I might cut some of them, not sure yet...

So I hope with my Character Rigging Reel(which is my strongest point atm) and this animation reel, that I might break into the industry :)

I have not done any acting so far, but tried to learn posing, timing, weigth, and get a good grasp of the animation principles.

You have some really great work there from what I can see. I couldn't watch your whole showreel due to a bit of a rubbish connection at the moment but I managed to watch all the individual animations.

The only small things that I'd point out are:

Assassin - His arms seem to react a bit too late to the landing in my opinion.

BuildingJump - When the character hits the ground he seems to roll on the spot and recovers quite quickly. Maybe have him moving when he rolls backwards and make him take a little step to recover his balance from such a fall?

Apart from that I love what you're doing. Keep it up and good luck with the showreel! :D

Thank you for the nice feedback, and also thank you for liking what I have done:)

I will definitely take your advice and inspect those two clips some more. The building jump is one shot that needs a lot of work, and I do think I need some more movements after the landing. Probably not the best camera angle for a shot like that, maybe have a moving cam that follows him...

I have made small alterations to a few of the shots, and will post a new list of links a little later this week.

You're more than welcome and I hope what I said helped.

With the buildingjump animation it could look really cool if you animated the camera like it was a pedestrian operating a camera. Like when you see these things on TV and they're a bit shaky and have a crazy zoom just before the action that follows the person. Just an idea hehe.

Hehe, might be a good idea. I have just been thinking of an angle to just simply show the animation. Guess I will see how the clips turns out in the end.

Yeah, probably too well. Animating it just wont look belivable without adding some more movements and "faulty" landing I guess, he is just too good.hehe
