CGTalk - scanner problem

does anyone have a Mustek1200CU?

My problem:
i will install the software and it doesn't work, install the updated drivers, and have to restart/reinstall them til it works, then as soon as i turn my computer off it wont work again, and i have to go through all that again. :hmm:

any ideas?
