My name is Raymond Arnold. I'm a recent graduate from Full Sail University with a focus on character modeling. I'm interested in working in the games industry, although in the immediate future I'm happy to work anywhere that I can get professional experience.

I'm in the process of putting together a website and planning what to do for the next few months as I look for jobs, and I have a few questions. I'm not sure if this is the ideal forum for these questions, let me know if there was another section I should be posting in.

First of all, here's my website. (www.psycosmworlds.com)

Now, my questions:

1) My program is more tailored for film than games. My demo reel assets are high res and do not have textures. My plan for the next few months was to do a character and environment designed more explicitly to be used in games. In the meantime, should I be shopping my current reel around to game companies, or should I wait till I have something more appropriate?

2) My understanding is it's easier to get a job as an environment modeler than character modeler. I figure doing both for my next project is a good direction, but once I'm done, is it better to bill myself as a character modeler, environment modeler, or just plain "modeler?"

3) raymondarnold.com and most variants were already taken. For now I'm using an earlier domain name I had gotten to use as a sort of creative blog, before I started putting together an official portfolio website. Is "psycosmworlds" an okay domain name to stick with? I'm a little wary of the fact that it doesn't immediately refer to me and might seem a little too "pretentious fake company name" sounding.

I'm not sure to what extent bumping is tolerated here, but I'd like to get at least some feedback, and hopefully I'll be forgiven for a single bump.
