hey all,

sorry if this is one of those repeated questions, but i seem to have broken the search feature and just get a blank white screen.

i have a scene that i am trying to render at 3600 x 2400 pixels in targa format. i have broken the scene into 6 render layers and am also using the -reg flag to render out 1200 x 800 blocks. when i start the .bat everything goes along just fine, the final gather completes and the render completes to 100% but when it comes time to write the image file, i get an exit error 210. attached is a screenshot (some filenames have been blacked out)

am i running out of memory when it tries to save the file?

thanks in advance,
adam

so, i went through and double checked to make sure all textures were in the sourceimages folder and there were no references being pulled from random places. the entire frame still renders, but exits at the last second. of my 6 render layers, i had one complete successfully and the other 5 either exited with a status 210 or status 1. i couldnt find anything about status 1 on the autodesk service and support page. any ideas?

Hi Adam,

I have had these errors before and they always occur when rendering with render layers. So i would associate the errors with them. I rarely use render layers anymore as have a lot of problems with them so tend to save out different maya scenes with the relevant changes and render them.

Regarding exited with status 1 error. Look at this wiki. This wiki has been started by Michiel Duvekot a former Autodesk support technician. You will need to register to use the wiki.
