Hi! I've been interested in Maya ever since I heard its wokrflow during animation is practically never bottlenecked when multiple expressions and complex animations are added. I just recieved my PLE in the mail and I was wondering if anyone knew of any tutorials for a TOTAL newbie.
What I mean by this is that the tutorial explains actually how to get to things. So instead of "Open Shader Editor" it shows exactly where it is. I barely can move/rotate/scale so far :scream: .

So, any ideas?

1. Open your Maya
2. Press F1 and select Essentials in Using Mayaź section

Also if your ever stuck on where to find a button then just open up the 'help' button in the top right hand corner and choose the search function to find info on 'poly extrude ' for example.

Also id recomend that u look through the 'maya tutorials' thread ... u can find some great links for basic tutorials there but i would go through all the help files you get with the ple first.

Enjoy :)
