Hello everyone~

I wanna encode a DVD movie (or ripped out mpeg-2 format file) into Quicktime format with as less quality loss as possible (audio quality decreass is ok, but don't wanna be video quality~)

so what software can do this (I wanna knwo the software name that can do this, even I can't afford to buy the software)?

(p.s. I don't wanna encode the dvd into DivxAVI and then convert to mov, such kind of methods ):applause:

if you have the mpeg2 reader for quicktime pro then you can just use that to convert between the two. Qtpro is like $30 and the mpeg 2 reader/writer is like $15. Also Media Cleaner from discreet can do this, but it is much more expensive($500+)
