View Full Version : Image sequences with mip_cameramap

Hello guys. I have a very frustrating problem:
I am using the mip_cameramap to map a background to a geometry.
I use a maya file node because mental ray textures do not support image sequences.
when I render a frame it works fine, when I render in batch render it gets stucked on the first frame.

any thoughts?

thank you beaker but the solution in that thread is to use the maya file node. I am doing that already and it works if I render one frame at the time but it doesn't if I use a batch or command line render. That is where my problem lies.

Unfortunately I need a batch render if I am going to get different passes into an .exr

This sounds like a similar problem you get when trying to render an animated ibl node.

Try unchecking Optimize Animation Detection and Prune Objects Without Material found under the performance tab in the translation section of your render settings.
