Found this while looking for a way to export camera information etc. from 3DS Max - free script by a very generous person. It exports the camera, lights and object information - this is great! I've already used it and it gets a thumbs up from me!!! Very simple to use and it is really a great tool for compositing etc.

I believe it only creates jsx (AE scripts) for CS3 and above - but still quite useful. Read the readme file on how to work it - but honestly you could just bumble around and you'd figure it out.
