View Full Version : Normal Map UV problems

I follow instructions on screen when z brush tells me i have multiple uv sets on my model and i need to uv group and hide the parts to map separately.
Thats ok .
So I have part of my body visible ,so i add a texture map. 4096* 4096.
Fine
Go into z mapper to map 1st part.
Maya best quality.
Then press map.
The map process starts

But it trys to map the hidden parts of the mesh as well and strings fly of like a spiders web to the parts that are hidden and starts to map that?

then end result is a mish mash texture?

It works on a mesh with one set uv .

can anyone help?

Think i found the answer .

The multiple uv sets must be grpsplit with that button in the subtools pallette.
then you can do maps for each part.
then assign to your uv ,01,2,3.

worked fine for me
