View Full Version : Install question?
NMCDerek 09-07-2009, 02:23 PM I've purchased Adobe photoshop creative suit 4 over the weekend, and I've installed it on my main work machine here at home, and now I want to install ia second copy at my folks home for me and them.
Do I want to deactivate my main copy on my main work pc, Or do I want to leave that active since I'm allowed 2 installs?

Technically, you can install your Adobe software as many times as you like but you are only allowed two Activations at any time. I haven't read the EULA closely but I believe those two activations are meant to be for your personal use (a desktop and a laptop, for example). You will be using it for your own personal use, I take it, therefore don't deactivate on your home machine. Adobe might quibble over a second activation on another desktop at a different address... but how are they to know?

You should tell your professor that there aren't unlimited opportunities to activate/deactivate. I think it's around 30, which seems a lot, but if you started deactivating every time you went to your parents' and activated your copy there, you would soon reach the limit.
