Thanks for the comment !

I see ur real and we dont really understand ur breakdowns, i think if u let see the original plate that will be more understandable... (on the airplane shot for example)
And add what u did on the shot with some title at the botom will be cool ; )

Anyway u really made some great work !

ah ! and i think ur music choice is not the good one.. many peopole dont like this kind of music so they will cut the sound or worse dont watch the demo..

Nice man, I like the style of the animated short in there. Would be nice to see a pass breakdown of the final shot, with the glowing fly, looks like theres some cool stuff going on in that comp.

There is not really some breakdown to show on the glowing fly...

I juste made some basic models of the environement to catch the light of the fly with a simple white lambert on it. Set up my light to have nice shadow with the wings and legs, and use this black and white passe as an alpha at compositing to shut down the light of the original plate.

That's one of the easyer shot i ever made in fact !

(The trick consist to film the original plate with an uniform neon light to have an equivalent of a color premultiplied by an occlusion..)

edit: here it is ! i update my demo with my 2 last works...
