I have a model of the earth, there is a bitmap applied to the uv's and I would like to inform zbrush that I would like a height value associated with the color data on the texture. But I'm not sure how to do this. As it is, the best thing that I can think of is masking off the areas I don't want affected and raising the geometry manually.
Or storing a morph target, switching, inflating, and painting with the morph brush to lower the elevation.
It would be best if I could just use the texture information to raise the geometry.
Any ideas?
