I know that I have had this problem before - maybe even asked this question before, all of which is a bit disturbing when heading into late middle age however...

There is a key combination to make non-planar wires planer again, but what the heck is it?
Anyone remember???

Michael.

Was it pressing the P key and clicking on the wire?

I hope there is a key for making non-planar wires planar again. It would solve a problem or two.

I believe you go into edit the wire and then double click in world space while holding down the P key in the view perpendicular to the plane you want it to become planar in.

But it's been years...

Great memory there, Evant. I just tried it and it works with wires that would be planar, but are offset from the plane. It also worked on a curved wire that passed through the plane. Sucked it down nice and flat

Thanks for the tip! Works great.

Thanks guy's - been trying to finish off a project and didn't get around to testing out the solution. Works a treat!
Also got rid of the 7300 board in my Mac Pro and installed an ATI 3870, now I can actually use modeler on the Mac instead of having to reboot into the dark side every time I wanted to use it.
