Hi all,
working on a multilayer image with layer masks.
As I paint on more than one layer, I also hide/reveal parts of the layer by painting on the layer mask.
To streamline the process I just use my intuos pen and the "Alt+]"&" Alt+[" hotkeys to move through the layers, but, I haven't found a keyboard only toggle to work on the mask or on the layer. Clicking on the layer mask thumbnail on the layers pallette is cumbersome as its located on a secondary display and my pen is not mapped to it.

Anyone know of a keyboard only shortcut to this?
Thanks

I don't think there is. The closest thing I can think of is using the \ key to show a rubylith overlay of the mask on the layer, which is like Quickmask mode.

I thought so, though I believe a script guru could come up with some kind of code that could then be assigned a hotkey.
Meanwhile I did some screen housekeeping/tidying up, and brought over the layers palette to my working monitor, though it does take up space..
