View Full Version : Misc : max is not working

when i am tring to load max
it's like starting normaly loading he's filws and then
just quiting automaticly
i tried evan to forat my c:\ drive and to install the max again and
the same problem
but when i"m installing the max in another computer
it's working fine.
what is the problem?

does this happen to any other application?

is it having a problem with the liceance?

it might be a virus

do you have any problems with explorer.exe when you shut your machine down?

Please let us know your system and hardware first :)
XP, Windows 2000, RAM ? and what version of 3DSMax, is there any error messages ? ;)

call discreet tech support I'm sure they'd be glad to help you out

If you do not have a discreet support contract try contacting your reseller, a lot of resellers are required to provide their own support.

Alternitively you could try posing this question in the max 5 support forum in the discreet forums. Discreet support guys hang out in there and are quick to answer questions like this but make sure you post informaiton about your machine right off the bat because they are going to ask. Os, service pack, make, model, motherboard, graphics card, amount of ram, type of ram, etc...
