Hello fellow mayans! :D I am working on a project to model and animate a rollerskate and a rollerblade. Here is what I have so far. Critiques are very welcome. I will need some help with the textures tomorrow. I plan on exporting the UV's and Photoshoping the heck out of it. Never done my own UV textures before so I need a lot of help in that reguard, but Here is the model so far. I need help and comments on the boot. I still need to model the sole, so this is just the leather part, and I need to work on the eyelets for the laces. Which brings me to my next question. How would you suggest going about modeling them. They do not have to move or react at all they just have to look good. I thought about lofting a tube with bent ends and then duplicating it over and rotating it a few times and then just doing the textures like in "Digital Texturing & Painting" by Demers like he does the hose, basically the same thing. But if you all know of a faster more productive way of doing it please let me know. Thanks for your help and time.

Geoff
