Hello all,
Eat3D is having a back to school sale (http://eat3d.com/blog_aug2009_sale) with 20% off of everything in addition to some great "buy one, get one" deals. These DVDs are great if you want to get a head start on your CG studies, learn new skills, or just hone your existing skills. The sale is open to everyone, not just students so feel free to poke around on the site and see if there's something that interests you. The new Fountain series is great if you want to get deep into modeling. Highly recommended. I also like the Max101 DVD. ;)

I also wanted to give the heads up that we are going to extend the sale for 1 more week because of a huge popular demand. This may be your last chance for a long time to get these DVDs at a discount like this, so stock up for winter :)

A little OT...

Do you guys plans on more Unreal DVDs? Something along the lines of Importing Custom Characters with Custom Animation? And showing the full setup of those etc etc, not talking about Animating them, but going through all the steps needed so they work flawlessly in game.

Thats a great suggestion. Could you take a moment and check this free video out and see if that is close to what you are referring to?

It briefly goes over importing characters and animation into UE3.
