Andreasson 08-06-2003, 11:40 PM Hi there,
Here is the shapes in progress for my first lipsynk animation. Any comments regarding missing shapes and corrections?

Nice model... its instantly recognisable which isn't easy to achieve.
The lips on the "o" shape need to be more pouted and upturned with a smaller hole, so that it looks like he's whistling...remember when doing blend shapes to go to the extreme...you never know when you might need to push the expression that bit further
again great work

This is funny! I mean the model makes me laugh. It's cool. I can't wait to see him make a speech.

ok i just took a look at ur lip sync animation and heres what i think, first of all what would add to the animation is if you actually got a clip of or a voice actor who imitated the dubbya (george w)
second you should see if you can find a video clip of his mannerisms and incorporate them into the character, that would enhance the performance 100 fold
keep going

OPS! The avi on my site was basically for me to get the workflow in the software right! It was not a attempt for animation. Sorry about that. IŽll post my serious version soon and then IŽll see what happens.
But thankŽs. I probably could use some live reference as support for the exagurated cartoon.
