View Full Version : Multi Monitor
ToiletDuck 08-06-2003, 06:52 PM Ok when I run XSI it opens itself onto both of my monitors. What I want to do is have XSI on one monitor and then have my tutorials on the other so that I can follow along. Any idea how to make it do this. Right now everytime I click on the XSI screen it automaticaly goes to that view on the second monitor as well. However there really isn't anything on it. Just a blank gray screen.

Use netview, in case your are not an IE addict.
Or multi computers - sorry this is not very constructive.
or keep trying - a lot of people do
Hope this helps!

nope.
just resize it.
and if the issue of xsi only offering dual layouts occurs then copy a sinlge layout for your rez from the layout folder to the dual folder of you current rez.
regarding the issue of when you click on somehting in xsi and it(I assume the field menu) shows up on the other screen, its a graphic card driver issue, try using another dirver or card.
another way to look at your tutorials if htm,l is put their address in netview and put netview on the blank grey area in xsi
EDIT opps sorry marci2001 already answered
